the corner shop clerk mops the smooth floor,
moving around and behind the door,
a customer comes in walking to the back,
he doesn't see the clerk mopping behind the rack,
the potential customer takes out a gun,
as the clerk sees this he is prepared to run,
then before he could leave another comes inside,
kneeling down behind the racks the clerk begins to hide,
the robbers talk wondering where is the clerk,
looking around wondering why he is not at work,
they go behind the counter and cant open the till,
while the clerk watches them remaining perfectly still,
a woman comes in seeing these people behind the bench,
she covers her nose at the mop cleaning chemical stench,
the robbers couldn't smell it with noses blocked with cocaine,
she looks at them standing there beginning to complain,
both so high they don't say a word listening to her speak,
as the clerk giggles quietly knowing she will talk about her week,
the robbers run out with nothing to escape her story of all,
the clerk walks out still giggling while he gives the police a call.
