i have been working on the voice of Nin, my own voice can do an ok job on imitating 80s and 90s cartoon characters or parts of them. i don't think anyone has heard scooby doo singing a foo fighters song while driving and almost have a car accident from laughing so hard. but anyway, I'm getting a voice figured out if anything.
sometimes i think he could be a deep gruff dragon type voice. a cross of the traditional dragonheart/sean connery and worf from star trek. but then main characters usually have standard voices. also this voice needs to be a child voice in the very beginning and grow to his main voice if made into a film.
I've seen Elijah wood being the voice of spyro the dragon, but Nin's voice shouldn't be that mellow. I also want to steer closer to Australian/UK accents for nearly everyone in the dreamon world. As i have mentioned earlier, the animators of Legend of the Guardians: the owls of Ga'hoole and voice actors in it are perfect for it.
Another thing i struggle with is this story is not for children (yet kids play video games with heaps more violence in them and we cant let them watch tv shows with violence?) as one particular part in the 1st story, the demon dedroge physically rips the skull out of a dragon and places it on his own head as a mask. you cant hide that on film, so rated R it is, and not for Retard.
