30 Seconds Longer

scars of battles past cover his face,
as his son looks on to their king's palace,
the guards hold him down while the son looks on,
a swing of the sword cutting through as his father is gone,
blood paints the floor as the son is next to die,
he looks at the other people showing he will not cry,
joining with his father in a world beyond the living,
as the guards look down on him ignorantly unforgiving,
another sword is raised prepared to cut away his head,
waiting for this moment fills him with impatient dread,
what will become of him when life is no longer to learn,
knowing all things painful and loving while candles burn,
the thoughts race through him giving strength to his will,
as the sword swings he builds up the courage to kill,
moving out of the way while the guards lose their grip,
his quick thinking avoids the hands while feet push to trip,
the sword is taken then swung to kill the executioner fast,
taking down the guards then turning his head to the king last,
more guards arrive while he throws the sword straight,
push it through the air with a lasting build up of exhausting hate,
stabbing the king through the chest perfect and clean,
as the guards cannot believe what they witnessed at the scene,
looking at his father noticing the sword poking through,
from behind one of the guards killed the son too.

Less No Different

she was born no arms or legs or part of her head,
by all possibility she should be dead,
but just a body wiggling to get about,
from a young age all experts would doubt,
not having a full life or knowing more,
she had the caring of her family to adore,
nothing to smile with without a face,
or arms to give her carers embrace,
just shoulder touches to know people there,
knowing a love with someone to care,
she married a man who would give her a happy life,
being just a body as a loving wife,
somehow it works through all the pain,
as she lived a full life with everything to gain.

A Place in My Mind

In the West where the tears smash in ocean waves,
while in the East the darkened eyes peering out of caves,
below stirs rivers streaming in curves,
reflected circles of vultures within the ripple serves,
dry pain brush tree leaves bristle the sky,
painting clouds as they pass effortlessly by,
swirls of dust in winds of whirl,
the same path of the hair on a beautiful girl,
streams of water taken to drink,
what a beautiful place to think.

Ending Worlds View

religious man fears the end of the world is soon,
while the other man thinks he is god and immune,
the smartass just smiles pretty sure it wont happen now,
while others think of all the reasons how,
but the working man hears this and can't wait,
hoping and wanting this to be his fate,
working hours upon hours with nothing to show,
oh how he waits but he is unsure if they know,
lines on his head that the sun set in place,
with a line of frowning constantly down his face,
he listens to the others about what they have to say,
when he hears the explanation of it starts with marriages of gay,
thinking this is a stupid reason but said in some bible of babbling shit,
with everything in this world happening why does it matter about that little bit.

Nightmares Revenge

the pillow sinks the head in deep,
pulling the mind to a nightmare sleep,
claws grab at the eyes in between,
with eyes of their own red and mean,
trying to run but stuck in oiled mud,
feeling the bleeding but not seeing blood,
falling down but never hitting ground,
hearing the rushing of a wind sound,
sinking deep in the watery pool,
holding your breath laughed at like a fool,
the nightmare presses your fear to full,
as they take you down feeling the pull,
then you wake to the light of the room,
knowing now your not in doom,
again to sleep to fight back in a dream,
bring a group of a battling team,
but the nightmares don't show anymore,
hidden deep in your mind in locked door.

Storm Dream

The dreams are shadowed by clouds blackening grey,
thundering flashes of light in different colours display,
making shapes imprinted into the photographic lenses of the eye,
cracking the fortress walls with bricks exploding from high,
crashing down deep into the mud bubbling depths under,
ran into by the falling water from the sky of echoes thunder,
white flashes of dropping water stop motion in falling streams,
believed by others to be a nightmare but these are happy dreams.

Bayts (Giant Vampire Bats)

claws and teeth in depths of darkened shapes,
the wings cover the horrors like black drapes,
sounds of chewing and sucking fluid through lips,
streaming blood to the hard ground in drips,
enjoyment among consuming a flow of red,
while a clawed hand pulls back her head,
stopping for a moment to hard throat swallow,
as a saliva strings begin to follow,
his claws dig in making a scratch,
as his teeth fold out and deeply latch,
sucking the life and draining away,
in this torturous life she will always stay.

Absorbing Anger

in her eyes is the gaze he wants to see,
pushing through so his soul can be free,
breaking the bounds of his wounded mind,
cracking the ties for pleasures to find,
pulsing colours rainbow the eyes,
a tear drop starts and quickly dries,
the focus of the pupil being drawn in deep,
seeing worse than a nightmare of a dark sleep,
trying to pull away but her power is too great,
the loving feeling changes to a deep revenging hate,
a question asked but no answer to give,
to finally a thought that she must not live,
pulling away just as the evil is removed,
he felt this way knowing it was approved,
the thoughts die down to a blissful old pain,
as she drew out his anger with none to remain.

Vampires Wish

captured in the quickness of his pale skin hand,
he holds what he caught to reveal his wishful demand,
keeping it held inside as relief flows over his face,
feeling the wings fluttering in the small palm space,
clasping his hands then opening to reveal,
as he whispers a wish of all the magic he can steal,
the wings turn brown removing all rainbow colours quick,
as the little fairy dies after turning grey and sick,
he turns his hand around as the remains turn to dust,
traveling up his arms with a feeling of life pulsing thrust,
his skin turns bright and no longer a cold pale,
as the wish worked without a fail,
no longer cursed with the evil soaked within,
as the feeling returns to his demon infested skin,
looking to the sky as a breath of air goes deep,
turning to run with a strain of a simple leap,
his heart beats harder with each step he takes,
now with life back in his muscles he aches,
seeing not too far as something stalks behind,
he is in the darkness wandering almost blind,
with a pulse heard in his ears with blood rushing by,
she bites his neck as he gives out a long sad cry,
turning him back into the cursed man of this Earth,
as the wish was wasted in knowing how much life is worth.

Immortal Girl

they attacked her with bombs over 2000 years ago,
buried her deep frozen in a mountain of snow,
immortal to harm from a genetic ooze,
as an atomic bomb only gave her a bruise,
finally the ice melted away over time,
sealed in this place for no crime,
archeologists dig at the site,
coming across her pale and white,
covered in dust they think she is rock,
when she coughs they get a big shock,
standing up as dust falls down,
she looks at them with a strange frown,
the bow to her being like a god,
as she coughs again with a nod,
trying to walk all stiff with strain,
feeling a slight amount of pain,
she looks outside into the rotten waste,
as she woke up not knowing what she faced,
showing the people how to make it all good,
as she was attacked in the past and misunderstood.
