the cursed man holds bags of food collected for his village home town,
for all his efforts they all give him a frown,
immortality with ugly features to have forever,
when he was not cursed he was handsome and clever,
giving the food and taking nothing in return,
he wanders off again to get more as his only concern,
the people of the town speak of giving him a reward,
out of pity they agree with the town lord,
the next morning he comes with food and water,
then ask him what he wants he looks at the lords daughter,
but no giving for that is his curse to bare,
he looks at her again but begins to dare,
pointing to her pretty and just over nineteen,
the lord does not accept this standing in between,
denying a love he orders exile to this ugly beast,
casting him out to the valley to the east,
that night while they talk about him and drink,
all of them change to the same ugly cursed creatures in a blink
