cages rattle as the monkey shakes,
so loud in the facility while the scientists ear aches,
looking into a scope with cells floating by,
the monkey shakes the cage with a loud cry,
with the scientist frustrated as he cannot finish it,
he continues to work then gets hit with monkey shit,
slamming his hands down and then giving the monkey a stare,
he walks over to him in the cage looking at his hair,
speaking the words that he knows the monkey doesn't understand,
just making a loud noise should give the monkey his demand,
then spinning around swinging his coat from the turn,
the monkey grabs it through the cage as something new to learn,
pulling the scientist back and against the cage bars,
the monkey holds him tight and showing his scars,
speaking in a language that he knows he wont understand it too,
the monkey gets across his message and makes the scientist taste his poo,
shaking in fear which causes the cages to rattle once more,
the scientist realizes the monkeys message being hard to ignore,
taking the fecal pieces and putting them under the scope,
he finds inside this shit the answers he would always hope,
looking back at the monkey to thank for such a wonderful find,
the cage is now empty and the monkey left the scientist behind.
