Sacrificial Altar of Blood

the blood flowed down the altar stone,
as the master cut through the rib bone,
pulling out the heart as it still beats hard,
while the mother of the victim is held by a guard,
looking at her son with his face turned blank,
with his life fading away into unconsciousness he sank,
watching as the blood streams down the masters wrist,
crushing the heart with his angered powerful fist,
turning to see the mother is next to be taken,
the clouds spin as the gods now awaken,
forming a face of anger looking down at the master,
the shock in his face not realizing the disaster,
as the mother escapes while they all look in amaze,
the master and his men are taken apart several ways,
she doesn't look back as they all in pain scream,
as her son is brought back to life as if a dream.
