the cracks in the crust of the dark earth,
as a dimmed shine of the sun being worth,
cracked sky of dead trees lightning black,
ripples of heat blowing forth and back,
rusted metals being eaten by brown paint,
as the reminders of them still but faint,
streams of light reflect on curves of before,
while the ground waits forever rain pour,
skulls and other bones kneel to pray,
as the gods are gone after that day,
hatred covered the planet in war and burned,
nothing continues after nothing was learned,
history told us this would again happen this year,
but now we are gone forever to disappear.
