Enemy Mine

The spaceship attacks the enemy ahead,
Firing lasers through to damage and shred,
Flying to low as his copilot calls out,
Crashing to the planet being thrown about,
Dragging his copilot from the ship,
With a cracked skull and broken hip,
He died on the rock while the pilot cried,
Buried under rocks with cross where he died,
Searching for the enemy that also crashed,
Finding it near a pool he splashed,
Trying to attack but outsmarted fast,
They soon learn to trust each other at last,
With falling meteors and religion taught,
Then wondering why they ever fought,
The pilot search the lands to return soon,
Over a hill and past a volcanic dune,
Coming back to a pregnant deal,
Not knowing where comes the next meal,
Death at the time of birth of the small,
Soon he grows fast and really tall,
The pilot defends against the men on a hill,
They shot him and took the boy thinking a kill,
Found by his friends and healed to health,
He flies back down to invade with stealth,
Finding the boy he cares so much,
Calling him uncle at the soft touch,
Taken home to speak the words of the drak,
To soon be in alliance to end the attack,
To have peace as a moral in the movies design,
The movie I tell about is enemy mine.
